I have been using Tony for my hair color (Balayage) since 2003. He is simply the best. I have NEVER had a questionable experience. Every time I leave his salon my hair looks natural and my grey is turned to a lovely blonde that I once was in my younger years. I highly recommend Tony!

Tony is simply the very best (not only in the Northwest but in the U.S.). If you are looking for a gorgeous and sophisticated color -- he's the one to give you that intangible, yet completely undeniable, ethereal quality. Tony Kim is a masterful hairstylist, specializing in balayage. Hes the best at what he does in the Pacific Northwest, hands down. He now has his own shop in Bellevue - highly recommend him going to see him. You will not regret it! Services: Hairstyling, Balayage

I have been seen Tony at Gene Juarez for years and he always been amazing. My first visit to his brand new salon was not what I expected. Booked service that his assistant (wife) who recommend ($350) for two hrs of service. The menu was super confusing to me as I am used partial or full balayage. Tony spend one hour plus 30 minutes styling. I left with copper balayage vs blonde like I always been. I did not get the results I wanted and he told me to book five hrs for next time! I have never spend 5 hrs at hair salon and more than $250 at Gene Juarez. Getting on his calendar is impossible now. Waited for almost 3 months and booked service that his assistant told me and results were awful (copper is not blonde). I dont see how Tony can sustained his existing clients with one man show. Unless you are super planner you wont get on. Good luck! Service: Hair coloring
