If you read only one testimonial to make your decision whether or not to hire Nicholas Andrews and Puget Law, make it this testimonial! Before hiring Nicholas to help me with my law problems I really thought my situation was one that wouldn't be resolved without a significant time in prison. At the time we acquired his services I had 5 open cases ranging from to the City of Puyallup to Tacoma Municipal, Federal Way Municipal and most importantly Pierce County Superior Court. I had spent a great deal of my life dealing with my past and current feelings buy self-medicating and along the way I had acquired numerous charges. Charges that I dealt with by ignoring and running from. By this past winter I'd been running from all of those charges for over a year. Up until November of 2018 I had a severe drug problem and at the end of November 2018 I found out I was pregnant at 42 years old. I made the choice then to clean myself up so that I could give birth to a healthy baby boy which I did in June of 2019. I was able to stay sober after having my son but was constantly living in fear of the police and looking over my shoulder waiting to be found. That's when I reached out to Nicholas and decided that it was time to try to take care of all my cases, anticipate and brace myself for prison. I'm not sure that everyone was convinced that Nicholas could even help me too far beyond walking through the court steps. He scheduled me quash hearings and one by one we began the process of getting through them. Nicholas is so easy to talk to and to tell the truth to that's he ended up believing in me and personally showing each judge of each court that I wanted to be home to raise my son. That by staying home to be able to raise my son was the best thing for all of us and I truly believe that he felt that in his heart. Every time I had court I was scared to the pit of my stomach that I was going to go to jail and all he asked of me was to trust him. As a result of that trust I sit here today being able to write this testimonial. All four of my misdemeanor cases were resolved without extra jail time. Were resolved without me having to be away from my son. however most of my fear resided in my Superior Court hearings as I was facing one count of identity theft in first-degree, one count of identity theft in the second degree, and one count of unlawful possession of payment instruments. these are all really serious charges and I was facing well over 10 years in prison. Nicholas fought for me tooth and nail every step of the way he convinced each judge to see the best in me and give me another opportunity to prove that I did not belong behind bars. In the end I was granted an alternative parenting sentence which they call FOSA and I was able to go home to my son.Nicholas got to know me and my family on a personal level which I really believe allowed him to fight for me on that personal level. I couldn't have asked for a better attorney or a better team of attorneys then Puget Law. This office of attorneys really believe in what they do, who really believes in giving you the absolute best defense they can. In my case I was literally trusting them with my life and they gave it back to me. In my heart I know that Nicholas Andrews was put on this Earth to be a defense attorney. These guys are great! I was hit with my 2nd dui, just over the 7 year marker. They were able to amend it down to a reckless driving. I was also hit with a driving on a suspended because I never went to dol court to fight them on keeping my license. The got the diving on a suspended in the 2nd to a driving on a suspended in the 3rd which has no penalty on licensing. When I did my drug alcohol assessment I was recommended 6 months of treatment. I went to them, not happy with not happy about having to do 6 months, they talked to the treatment center and got that reduced to 6months. No jail time, court fines were reduced and all I got to do is 45 days of ankle EHM. They listen, they respond very easy to talk to. I would recommend them to everyone ! Thank you guys for everything you did, you made this stressful situation so much easier to deal with
