I was extremely disappointed by BECUs notary service. My husband is a loyal member and has been banking with BECU for more than 20 years. We needed a notary service and went to BECU Bellevue branch with an appointment . After 20 minutes wait, we were told by the branch manager Erin that notary service could not be provided to us because I was not a member. The policy is that you have to have an account more than 6 MO in order to be eligible for notary services. This policy doesnt make sense and hurts members value in many situations. For example, one of the most frequent events that require notary is Will change. It creates so much frictions and the notary benefits are essentially useless. I hope your company can consider these scenarios and extend the notary service to family members of members. At this point, it is unlikely for me to bank with BECU or recommend it to my family and friends because of the lack of customer obsession
