The Park at Auburn Apartments

It was never top of the line, but when I first moved in 08/2019 it was basic and comfortable.  They were even pretty good about fixing things.  Then the old manager Judy left and Covid hit.  Things went to hell.  I got bed bugs for the first time ever in Feb 2020 and Judy hired an exterminator for one treatment but then she left.  Have not seen another exterminator for this issue.   I kept sending messages to have most ignored and some getting me an inspection on a problem that was already proven.  Then they told me to get rid of them I would be held financially responsible.  No not happening after 2.5 years of complaining.   So beware they have never done anything Then there are the neighbors, most are pretty cool and quiet, but there are a few that are a mess.  Get comfortable with smelling weed,  There is the crackhead who bangs on her boyfriend's door at all hours yelling at the top of her lungs.  There are all the extra vehicles so that you cant park near your door.  New management is doing better but has a long way to go.Oh and if your bike has been stolen in this neighborhood, I bet I can tell you where it went. The stairs to my building are in awful shape and one day someone is going to fall through.  when it breaks they reattach it and move on with their business. Yes as I was moving I have seen black mold, not a lot but it is there.  There is no way in hell these apts. are worth the money they are renting for. Oh, and the police are in here on a regular basis, always for the same apts. (One has since left) but nothing is ever done, just sit back watch and let them do what they want. And other reviews are right, I had a basic cleaning but nothing extra and nothing was new.

Very nice and clean. Pet friendly place. Can hardly hear the freeway above. The office people are very helpful and nice to speak with.
