Northwest Children's School

Both of my kids have attended NWCS. Their staff is so fun, caring and they offer such fun activities to the kids. A great learning environment. I would highly suggest them to anyone looking for a new preschool or pre-k!

Poorly located in Arlington, I wasn't impressed. When you walk through the entrance, The smell of urine is in the air. I can understand that because there is a bathroom next to the front door that probably needs some deep cleaning. Kathy, the director managed to lose everyone's payment checks. The school had informed the parents that their checks had been miss placed and that we needed to re-write a new check. The lost checks were never found. I don't like the fact that they leave their door unlocked during school hours. I didn't care for their curriculum because it didn't involve any writing. -Only songs and art projects. I'm trying to prepare my daughter for Kindergarten. She has already sang songs and artwork in Preschool. I took her out of the school and placed her at Bethlehem Christian school in Marysville. She has advanced SO MUCH MORE.

I cant say this place is awesome nor could I recommend it but I guess it's ok. They're not horrible. If you're child fits into the box they've said all children must fit into you'll be fine. The science teacher Mrs Wren is not very warm to parents or students why shes even at a preschool is beyond me. We all had to skip conferences "unless your concerned" because of snow. Not postponed. Just skipped them. They want to operate like a public school with zero skills of actually being a school. It's a nice 3 hr daycare center.

Both of my children attended this school and we loved it! Two years at NW Childrens school helped make them Kindergarten ready. Im grateful for an amazing foundation of education that was created for them.
