Sound Dentistry

After a few years going here decided I could find better dental care elsewhere. The hygienists care was good, but the DSS attention was brief and superficial compared to other care I have recieved.

Made an appointment for my old uncle. It was his first cleaning since before covid was a thing so I was nervous. Scheduling was pretty straightforward and he says the dentist made him feel comfortable and the tooth cleaning felt thorough. Thanks Dr. nguyen and Lyuda!!

I had such a great experience. Everyone was nice and friendly, from the front office to the Doctors. The doctor I saw, was very personable and took her time to explain the treatments I needed. My cleaning and fillings went smoothly and painless. I am so glad, I have finally found a dental home!

New in the area. seems to have good review but terrible when it comes to scheduling. Got to see the dentist after months and was scheduled for cleaning after I saw the dentist. Had family emergency so requested a new cleaning date, whew, they scheduled me for August! 6 months away! Well, my teeth will fall off before it can get cleaned I had to edit this- dentist himself called just to get me in earlier:) I had been their patient for more than a year now I edited my rating down from 4 to 3 because once again, its the scheduling issue. If you only need a regular scheduled every 6 months cleaning, I would say that the dental hygienist are really great! 3 times now-Gentle hands, almost no pain cleaning, great work all over! But, if you have an emergency, like when I had my front veneer fall off-resulting to sensitive painful liquid intakes- they cant get you in the next day- earliest available was 5 days. I had to go to a different walk-in dentist, somewhere not in Anacortes. It only took 10 mins for my teeth to be glued back in place. The point is- it was a quick service that was priceless to feeling better. Regular cleaning - 5 stars Emergencies - 1 star
