Holy fricken Christ! I have to say that this place utterly floored me with everything from service, drinks, ambiance, to of course food! Let me just say I do not give this level of praise lightly. As a professional chef, former restauranteur, and having worked and eaten at some of the best places in the country, this place is unquestionably a hidden gem. Hidden only because of location. If you threw this place into Seattle/San Francisco/Miami/etc, it would unquestionably be one of the top spots. Again, I don't say this lightly and I have lived and eaten and worked in all aforementioned places. To start, the service was beyond friendly and knowledgeable. My server was super sweet, came by exactly when needed but didn't hover, and was just such a pleasure to talk to. I eventually spoke with the bartender a bit and he too was super friendly and very knowledgeable. I ordered the whipped ricotta to start and OMG it was amazing. Perfectly grilled sourdough focaccia, just enough char and paired perfectly with the sweet and creamy ricotta. Next I tried their Fried Oyster Roll which I mostly ordered because I love fried oysters when done right. These were probably the best I have ever had. Perfectly cooked, melt in your mouth center with a delectably crunchy exterior. The slaw/veggie topping was a perfect complement to cut through the richness and made it hard to stop. Lastly I finished with the Sable fish, which was a divine revelation. Seared to perfection, with wonderful sauted bok choy and house made pasta that all just came together in harmony. I will say that I felt the pasta was mildly sweet as well as the fish, so they kind of muddied each other's flavor profile, but since they were so perfect on their own, I don't feel it just to knock them for it. I also enjoyed three very different cocktails and they were all top notch. I honestly can't remember the name of any of them, but something tells me that it wouldn't matter which you ordered. They were that good (and that unique). If you enjoy amazing food, great service, delicious drinks, and all at what I truly believe is a fantastic price point for the quality, then you will not be disappointed. My only negative is that I'm leaving town this afternoon and won't be able to enjoy them again this evening!

Well, this was a nice surprise of a place in of all places downtown Aberdeen. I sorta heard about it a while back. I visited my brother helping him out with a project of his in Aberdeen. And so I said hey let's get dinner somewhere nice. Let's invite grandma, too. Thomas, he thought Happy Teryaki, which is a dive of a place, and I said no, how about this new place I heard about... the atmosphere is fantastic. It's definitely a Seattle restaurant downtown vibe to it. Music was jazzy, and I lived the dimmed lighting. The food... was OMG was fantastic. The prices are decent and expected for that quality of food and atmosphere. Service was great as well. Jen served us the other to the owner of the establishment. I don't tip the 20% often, especially in these times of BideN Flation! But I felt good giving my 20% at this please. Definitely great place. I highly recommend people to go. I'll be going again for sure and maybe next time I should ask Jen out...
