We have had the privilege of having Ellen as our family photographer for the very special occasions of my son's first communion and my older son's senior pictures. We also had her take some beautiful family photos as well. She has a very special way of capturing our family's personalities and we love how she has taken the pictures in natural settings. We had the first communion pictures taken in the gardens of our church and the senior/family photos taken in the gorgeous evening light at the Yorktown Battlefields. Ellen recently took a series of family photos for us, along the James River. With the challages of getting the family dog to cooperate with posing (yeah, right), Ellen was first rate, setting up photo shoots that truly brought background, lighting, and poses all together to create a truly beautiful family photo set that will be cherished for many, many years to come.
