Dont use this law firm. They are so incompetent that they lost the will for my family members estate and then magically found it later. Best believe that they charged us for it too.

My father restated his will trust and durable POA to his daughter who cared for the father and mother for many years. When the signing came to redo the estate plan Mr Buxton forgot to have the mother update her durable POA that had been done previously. Creating a nightmare of 4years battling siblings for the trust. Costing not only over 100,00 in legal fees but years of bullying, gaslighting, and emotional pain from siblings fighting over the trust. The lawyer admitted to his mistake and signed an affidavit. This was too costly a mistake. Now I stand alone suffering the consequences. Still involved in litigation I ER a useless error. I would not recommend this law firm.  This  mistake  has cost lasting damage . And should never have happened.

My father had great faith in this law firm and had Hired Mr. Buxton to oversee and create my dad's estate plan. About year before my father passed, he restated his will and trust and POA's, naming me as executor of his entire estate explicitly making me POA over both parents. I was the daughter who cared for the parents for many years. Even taking them into my home to live with me, while my dad was in hospice and mom had dementia. Unfortunately, at the signing of the paperwork to establish me as the sole one in charge Mr. Buxton forgot to bring the updated POA to the meeting for my mother. Reverting back to a sibling he did not want in charge. This mistake has caused me so much grief, heartache and family battles, not to mention over 100,000 in litigation fees that continue to grow. Mr. Buxton admitted to his mistake and signed an affidavit stating that the daughter was supposed to be in charge. My three siblings and I are still litigating over his error, and it's been a complete nightmare for four years. I would not recommend this firm. This mistake should never have happened. I would not recommend this firm. I would choose wisely as POA's hold a lot of power and in the wrong hands can create a huge problem.

I am very happy to have finally attended to my trust issues. After a presentation they put on, it made too much sense to not get this done. So far I'm about two thirds of the way through the process, but will be able to start resting easy soon. To leave so many unattended loose ends to my family and the possibility of my estate slowly changing hands over the generations and not with the people I want, will be locked in soon and my blood relatives for generations will benefit. The process isn't as painful as I might have imagined and they make everything very clear, explaining the documents beforehand, until I am comfortable that I understand them. I would recommend them to anyone, family, friends or stranger.
