While I was driving to donate a good amount of clothing, toys, and movies my phone fell into the box of donations. I didnt notice for about 5 days. I tried calling 2nd Avenue they referred me to green dot. So I attempted to call them to no avail until the 7th day as I have been tracking my phone to their location. They sold my phone after I let them know about the situation so an employee by the name of C.J. Said I could be reimbursed half of the value of the iPhone which I reluctantly accepted until I just received a call from her saying her boss refuses to reimburse HALF of the value of my iPhone because I reported it 7 days after. If they had returned my calls sooner it wouldnt have been 7 days. I have been using them for awhile because I like the causes they donate to but I would highly recommend a different thrift/donation location. Acts is a fabulous example of a trustworthy and honorable thrift store that donates to excellent causes as well. Savers is another along with the Salvation Army. I would never refer anyone to green dot again nor purchase anything from 2nd Avenue. I am still tracking the phone through find my iPhone that they sold and it is still at the location but that isnt enough to suffice a reimbursement or even just giving me my phone back.
