I love Potomac Dental Care. I never go to any other dental place but this. I like their staff- their desk receptionist/administrator and their clinical assistants are all very professional, friendly, courteous. They check on you every step of the way. I like Dr. Humam Alathari. He is straightforward, he doesn't give you the runaround; he tells you what the problem is, what can be done to resolve your dental issues. He is not pushy, and doesn't hard-sell you on treatments. He will tell you what additional treatment you need, but he will not push you into a corner to get it. Dr. Humam Alathari is fantastic. He is well-spoken, laid back, easy to talk to. He treats his patients professionally. Many years ago, my uncle, who was the Dean of Dentistry for many years at the prestigious Univ. of the Philippines- School of Dentistry, in Manila, Philippines, told me that a good dentist is one who has very light hands, who doesn't put any weight on your teeth or jaw when doing a procedure. Dr. Humam Alathari has VERY LIGHT hands. I did not feel any weight or discomfort on my teeth or jaw while he performed the procedure. It is difficult to find a dentist who has the light touch. Dr. Alathari has the masterful light touch. The clinic is VERY CLEAN. I have an eye for catching little things and I can tell you, Potomac Dental Care is CLEAN. Pricing. I have no issues with the pricing. I asked for an estimate and I got it prior to treatment. Considering the procedure that I was getting from Potomac Dental Care, the pricing was perfect. I have no complaints with my out -of-pocket expense because I know I am getting quality service from Potomac Dental Care. Always ask for an estimate and go line by line when you visit any doctor or clinic. That way you know what you are getting and paying for, and the clinic will know what services they can offer you. By getting an estimate, no surprises between you and the clinic. I did not get any surprises with Potomac Dental Care because right at the start, I asked for an estimate so I knew what I was going to pay. I also want to mention, that the ambient music in the clinic is perfect for my taste- old standard jazz which I love. I am so glad the ambient music is not hard rock or loud music. This is a big plus for me. So, if you are looking for a dentist/dental clinic, go visit Potomac Dental Care. Give it a try. Thank you!

I brought a family to Potomac Dental Care who recently arrived here in the U.S. from Afghanistan. Dr. Alathari and the staff provided excellent care. They were extremely caring, thorough and professional. Highly recommended!

Had a great experience with Potomac Dental Care! The hygienist, Delmy, was very knowledgeable, efficient, and thorough. Overall, this practice seemed very honest, transparent, and genuine.
