image I very often call in to get meds filled here through the robo system. I am very often told the meds will be ready at a certain time and when I go to pick them up I am told only half or some of them were filled amd to come back in an hour.
I decided to only fill them over the phone through a pharmacist then, however the same problems occur. I am told one thing over the phone (yes they can be filled and be ready by___) and then once in person I am told something else.
The most recent time I was told a med would be refilled. I went to pick it up and they were confused and said they didnt even know if they had it. Told me I could pick up a partial in an hour. I call the next day to confirm its ready...yes. I go to pick it up, give the name, person looks confused, i tell them the name of the med and that it is a partial fill. They say okay and give it to me through drive thru. I pull up and realize its a completely different med! I pull right back around and theyre closed for lunch.
My guess would be their automated system sucks and needs updated. The people qre always friendly and theres no way that everyone there is incapable of communicating....Walgreens, please update your computer system to function....or retrain staff if this isnt the problem.
Ive never had this much of a problem at CVS.... unfortunately insurance decides the pharmacy.

image The pharmacy workers are horrible. They were gossiping about customers in front of other customers. They said what are we supposed to do about it? to someone on the phone after just picking it up. Prior to my appointment I tried to call that same line, and after 10 minutes of waiting I gave up. There are at least 10 people working back in there at once and they yell at each other the whole time and still make you wait a ridiculous amount of time. At the same time, I cant exactly fault them for their frustration, because apparently some of them had been working two more hours than they expected. They were bad mouthing their boss, loudly, there was only one worker of five I was in contact with that knew how to use their machinery. After my test I asked to confirm if a policy they advertise online is accurate. The worker that did my test wouldnt look me in the eye and muttered that they dont do that anymore and I have to contact my doctor. I called ahead of time and confirmed this policy but he said there was nothing he could do. I wasted money because of their incompetence and Im still sick with COVID and I wasted an hour of my time before the holidays, when there arent many other medical opportunities and the test was already late in the evening. Other medical facilities are now closed. Incredibly disappointed. My boyfriend was also chastised as if he was stupid for asking about a different policy their website said they were able to do. Horrible experience. Plenty of other Walgreens locations. Pick one of those.
