The folks at the front desk are exceptional! Kind, gracious, compassionate professionals who demonstrate customer service in every interaction. Both the following folks should be recognized: (1) TIM. We made a reservation through booking with plenty of time to cancel. We were in the area and asked Tim if we could take a look at the room. Without hesitation he provided us a key. Afterwards he informed us of the other amenities. We then had a wonderful personal conversation about hockey and other things. PLEASE ask him what famous ice skater paid him a compliment... Tim didn't even know who she was... his friends laughed about it afterwards... Great story from a great man. (2) CINDY. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances we had to cancel the reservation. This was after the deadline for cancelling. We would have been charged for one night. Once I explained the circumstances, Cindy was kind enough to waive the cancellation penalty. What a great American! Cindy has retired and can easily be relaxing at home and/or with her hobbies. Instead, she chose to work at a hotel to "be with happy people on vacation." I wish I didn't have to cancel. If TIM and CINDY are any indication of how the rest of the staff is at the hotel, customers are in for real treat. These folks KNOW, UNDERSTAND, and LIVE the "hospitality" line of work. Management should recognize both TIM and CINDY publicly for setting the "bar high" and the standard for customer service. Frankly, Cindy and Tim should train and educate folks who choose to go into the "hospitality" field on how to be both a competent employee and one that exudes customer service qualities.

Overall the hotel is better than a lot of so called upscale places. Matt was truly a gentleman. Always smiling But I would recommend this for anyone. Here for the weekend for the little ones Birthday. Only 13 minutes from Busch Garden. Rooms are cleaned. Pool area temperature was great and the jacuzzi was bomb. Rooms: Very clean Nearby activities: Busch Garderns and other attractions we didn't get to make it to

Hotel is very nice and clean, rooms are great, great location and the staff is very friendly. The indoor pool and hot tub are nice amenities
