Samuel at poolforce took outmr large deposit in November and never showed up to do the job. He will not answer any calls or return emails

I am a current PoolForce client.... in short while the work performed is "adequate" the communication is all but gone.... no responses to questions, no responses to emails or voice mails. They did not pay their sub contractors who are now calling me and they are refusing to pay for damage done by their workers to areas of my he that they caused. Currently I have so many voice mails & emails into PoolForce I can't remember how many.. and still NOTHING. And we are now hearing from other locals dealing with them in the same boat, virtually no communication... I can't tell if Samuel is simply ignoring me now that he has 95% of my money or has a significant issue with his business... PoolForce.. SAMUEL... CONTACT ME ASAP!!! I want to work with you, but you are making it difficult. UPDATE... Samuel has left the country and has been in Kenya for the last 3 months. His personal home in Virginia Beach has been siezed by the state of Virginia and foreclosed on by the mortgage lender, it is going up for auction on March 5th 2024. His business address also appears to be closed, but I cannot confirm it. I have hearf that his staff is all but gone and I really have no idea on how he is continuing to do business (he is the only licensed contractor in this company) and starting new projects if he is not around is somewhat questionable. The Virginia DPOR has confirmed with me that there are several formal complaints that were made against him in 2023 as well as in previous years. .. PoolForce owes me about $21,000 in labor & materials that I have already paid for (I followed the contract guidelines for payment)... I don't believe that I will easily be able to recoup my loss.... my suggestion to everyone, make sure that you do a full background on the company and are comfortable before committing to do business with them. Let's give another update I just took Samuel and pool Force to court in the district court of Accomack county Virginia. Needless to say he didn't even show up and I won by default. My next step since there's no way for me to get blood out of a Stone is to go after his active surety bond. I have already left them 2 messages and they're not getting back to me ...which means I will probably have to take them to court as well and I will win. This story is never-ending I strongly recommend that nobody do business with PoolForce...I can't tell you how many people I've spoken to that he has simply just taken their money and disappeared.

Do NOT trust Poolforce or Samuel Kamau. They will take your money and then not finish the job. They owe multiple contractors money. They have abandoned multiple jobs. Look him up on the VA courts website and you will see where he has been sued multiple times for not paying his subcontractors and suppliers thousands and thousands of dollars.

Paid large deposit in November. Samuel was supposed to start the pool end of January. He will not answer any phone calls or return any calls. He has disappeared with our money.

This company transformed my driveway, patio, and walkway with pavers. Mitch, Joe, and Charles worked quickly, finishing in just a day and a half. James ensured everything was perfect before they left. I'm thrilled with the result and would hire them again! Highly recommend to friends too!
