My internet stopped working on 10/29/20. My kids missed all their classes. Called windstream and I was told the earliest someone could get to my address will be the following day. The windstream rep couldn't guarantee a time. I express how the internet is needed for my kids schooling and things around the house.
A technician from windstream arrived the following day at 12pm and couldn't fix the issue. The windstream tech mentioned someone else will be out to fixed the issue. I called 2 hours later and spoke to a windstream customer service rep who told me the issue will be addressed today 10/30/20, I asked if she could contact the Technician to find out when he'll be coming out. The customer rep put me on hold and never returned to my call. After several call and attempts to windstream with no succeess
I received a call around 6pm that my issue can't be fixed till monday knowing that everything around the house uses internet and most especially my children schooling. The supervisors I spoke to mentioned there was nothing they could do and I have to wait. There was no empathy or understanding how this impacts a lot of thing in house. I'm away for work, my kids missed about a day and a half of classes. I had to use my nieces phone to communicate with my kids. My kids were bored.
I was told someone will be out on monday to fix the issue. There no time frame or guarantee. This has shown how insensitive and unprofessional the windstream staff are.
