We boarded our lab staffordshire mix with Adam and the Obedience Paws team for a boot camp. Before boot camp, our dog could not be around other dogs because of reactivity and by the end of it he was in the playground able to be around other dogs. The improvement in obedience and off leash training was incredible. Adam is a true professional and he provides candid advice on how to best lead your dog. I highly recommend Adam and Obedient Paws to anyone looking for dog training or boarding in the Hampton Roads area.

Night and day! We brought Buster in for boarding training after two dog fights. He was stubborn and did as he pleased. He would ignore commands; guard the property, bed, treats, us; many dominance issues. He is so different now!!! He listens and respects my space. I am more firm with him and dont treat him as a fragile puppy, so he doesnt feel the need to walk over me. Adam and his team are great! Daycare is also a breeze!

Highly recommend Obedient Paws to anyone looking for help with their dogs behavior! Prior to OP, I was feeling extremely defeated by my dog and her stubborn, disobedient behavior. After a 3 week board and train, I have better control over her than ever - I can have her off-leash on the beach (something I thought wed never achieve), leash walks are way more enjoyable for me, and our relationship overall has a much better balance to it. Something I worried about going into training was that it would take away the fun and playful parts of her personality - that was not the case! She is the same dog through and through, we are just better able to communicate now. I think that if anything, the training has allowed me to enjoy her best qualities even more because I can trust her and give her space to play. We couldnt have gotten to this place without OP and I am so thankful!

Not usually one to write reviews, but I have to give credit where credits due. Adam and his facility are AMAZING. I was at a breaking point with my dog Leela and was on the verge of having to rehome her due to food aggressiveness and guarding issues when she was near my other dog. I found Adam on a google search and decided to give him a call. He got me in the very next morning and I dropped both of my dogs off for his 4 week boarding program. Throughout the program he kept me well informed and also would do private 1 on 1 sessions with me to show me what they have learned and tips on how to handle them at home. When I picked them up it was like bringing home two new dogs!! No pulling on the leash, no food aggression, and they LISTEN! I cant recommend Obedient Paws enough!! I still bring my dogs in every once in a while for doggie daycare and boarding and the second I pull up my dogs are SO EXCITED. They absolutely love Adam and the rest of his staff. I am so grateful we found this place! :)
