I'm posting this anonymously from a source very close to me: Unfortunately I have had a very hurtful and dissatisfactory experience with Miss Wildner. There was large level of disrespect and a series of invective comments made by her. This being my first time meeting with someone in this medical arena has left me with a very sour taste in seeking help in this regard. Again I am inexperienced in mental health and medications so expectedly, post meetings I would occasionally message Miss Wildner questions on things I am unsure about. In one instance I messaged Miss Wilder with a question, and she fired back with a very curt "As I said..." which to me came off a bit rude and condescending. But I disregarded it. Following that exchange we held our monthly telehealth appointment in which I asked a question with the disclaimer "sorry if this is a dumb question but.." With Miss Wildner responding with " I dont understand what your confusion is, is alcohol causing you to become confused and unable to follow my directions?". This was very disrespectful as well as continuous of her alcohol abuse misdiagnosis. I also informed her that me having a drink every other night is not far from the norm and anyone I work with or in walks of life tend to share this activity. Her response:(paraphrased) "well they don't have mental health problems" Alcohol is not an issue for me and never has been for me or anyone in my family and is unrelated to my occasional anxiety issues. Which i didnt realize now constitutes me as having "mental health problems" I am writing this in hopes this lack of professionalism is corrected and no one else, especially first timers, go through this experience.
