BUYER BEWARE!! We are a current client of Tomas Zuokas and Virginia Home Design and contracted with them for a whole home renovation in Arlington, VA. Since we contracted with VHD it has been one problem after another. One of the issues in the house is water in the basement. Mr. Zuokas knew even before signing the contract that this was a problem and said that he would fix it. When work finally started on the house (the delays we have experienced are a whole separate issue), Mr. Zuokas came back to us and demanded $7500 to fully resolve the problem and threatened to stop work if we didn’t pay. From the beginning, Mr. Zuokas represented that he would stick to his contracted price no matter what issues came up. However, as issues have come up throughout the project he tries to renegotiate the contract. Our renovation is a large project. It has become clear to us that Mr. Zuokas doesn’t have the infrastructure to take on projects of this size and lacks the communication skills to work effectively with homeowners. We are 6 months into a project that was supposed to take 4 months and not even half way to completion. I strongly encourage anyone looking for a renovation contractor to look elsewhere. Tomas and his team did a great job fixing a job that was started and botched by a unlicensed contractor. He was very responsive every step of the way and made sure we were satisfied meir calling it done. We will use him for all projects in the future.

These guys are great..... High quality work and on time. Really great pricing and prompt customer service. They were a lifesaver after an awful experience with Lowe’s and Home Depot.

They came out and fixed a huge issues we had in the bedroom. Very please with the Craftsmanship and quality of the work.
