Very clean and a spa like dental office with friendly staff and a happy smiling dentist with a big personality, Dr. Lam is a great cosmetic dentist and a perfectionist.

I underwent a distressing encounter with this establishment. I had been a patron of Tyson Dental Spa for approximately three years until it underwent a change in ownership to Dr. Lam. Initially, my upper right tooth exhibited minor discomfort, a situation that should have been easily remedied. However, it evolved into a nightmarish ordeal. Upon returning for the intended tooth repair, I was confronted with an unexpectedly extensive treatment plan. To my astonishment, they asserted that I needed to address 17 cavities. This assertion appeared excessive considering my regular biannual check-ups. Despite my skepticism, I retained some trust and authorized them to rectify the issue with my problem tooth while also addressing the cavities on the right side. The ensuing experience was nothing short of harrowing. Subsequently, I had to revisit the office to address the damage inflicted by Dr. Lam's procedures. Her response was that I needed to allow time for healing, considering the extent of the procedures akin to major surgery. Following this, I sought a second opinion regarding the quality of her work. The results were profoundly disconcerting. Two other dental professionals were taken aback, conducting X-rays on my left side, and their findings revealed the absence of any cavities. Regrettably, my current situation involves the impending extraction of a tooth, necessitating a root canal procedure, and consultation with a specialist to rectify my bite issues. I implore anyone who harbors doubts about their recommended treatments to actively seek a second opinion.

Super friendly staff with a clean, welcoming environment. I will definitely be back. (Review submitted prior to Dr. Lam taking over) I had a terrible experience with Dr. Lam and I'll never go back.

On the evening of March 11, 8 hours after my temp crown was put in, it fell out while brushing my teeth (with an OralB rotary toothbrush). I will call Monday March 13 to have it put back in. The temp crown, after considerable grinding, still proved to be too high and made it difficult to close with a clean bite. More grinding must be needed.
