Suffolk Police Department

I found the Suffolk police to be very professional, courteous and helpful. Im not sure if its ok to mention the officers name on social media but if the department reads this and would like to know who helped me I got his name and badge number so I could make a compliment. Today Oct 29tg I had another pleasant interaction with the Suffolk police. They did a great job of handling an unruly citizen while I was just trying to tow a car. I wish I knew the badge number because dude was cool.

2- year old boy was left in a coma after an off duty police officer was drunk and slammed into the back of a kia soul and fled the scene. The officer was not breathalyzed and the department tried covering it up.
