Upper management has researched the complaint and addressed your concerns with the employees to ensure this is resolved. Here are a few clarifications:1. This took place at our Pruden Blvd location, not the South Saratoga St store. We researched until we were able to find the source.2. The employee who first interacted with you has two titles, delivery and dispatch. When you explained what you needed, he realized it needed to be addressed by a tenured parts professional. He then sent you to one of the most knowledgeable people in the store.3. Even though you had the starter in hand, there was no way to judge the proper size, as it was from a piece of equipment. The only way to determine starter bolt thread size on industrial equipment is thru OE manufacturer catalogs. As the starter had holes without threads, it was determined the threads were on the engine mounting surface. Without knowing that size, it's virtually impossible to assure you the right bolt or nut.4. Our parts pro asked if you had an old bolt/nut, hoping you had even a damaged piece to help give more clues. He would have gone out of his way to help if there was any more available information.- In regards to eating on the counter, our employee did confirm your experience and understands this should not take place while customers are present in the building. This is a very fast-paced location and sometimes lunches get delayed, as customer service is the top priority. Unfortunately, hunger has no time clock. Regardless, employees should not display their food in customer-facing areas. This is being reiterated to all employees.Thank you for taking the time to give your feedback, it makes us even stronger.
