This legal aid used to be able to help low-income or income base clients. They don't have any attorneys to represent you, only for housing issues or some unemployment issues.( no civil lawsuits) They will refer you to Virginia lawyer referrals. Other areas won't come and help this legal aid. Phone calls won't be returned and documents become missing. I was suggested, if you are making copies with this office, that you are standing there with them and they do not shred anything without your consent. Get everything in writing, if they are helping resolve the issue or legal representation of you . They do have a paralegal that can try to help you but she cannot go no farther than trying to find a resolution. Since they have moved to a different location, attitudes have changed. Still professionalism and getting to work done should be their top priority to keep their business open. It doesn't seem that they are trying to look for attorneys to help them as well. Do advertisements to get attorneys in to help and assist.

The Paralegals helped me prepare for court over the phone with 2 hour long calls getting as much info as they needed and informing me of my rights and responsibilities. Attorneys Bob and Nerida were amazing and followed up on time.
