The estimate was spot on. Eleven hours with four men. This included a stop on the way from old house to new to drop off a piano at my daughters house. The estimate was done when only about half the house was packed. The estimate was accurate and included unpacking an additional 16ft POD. Plus, the estimator listened to my concerns about moving two antique pieces of furniture that were of great sentimental value. Extra padding was used to prevent the glass from being broken. There were no hidden fees. The movers were polite, serious and very hard workers despite moving day being the hottest day of the summer so far. I would highly recommend Carmack Movers. They were not the least expensive of the estimates nor the most. I feel my money was well spent.

The Carmack experience of moving from our home of over 40 years was a model of professionalism and quality. From accurate estimation and pricing to professional, careful execution, the Carmack team performed far beyond our expectations. The truck arrived on time and every piece of furniture was carefully wrapped in a moving blanket and taped. We had no broken furniture or scuff marks on the walls at either home. Security of the load was impressive, with a requirement to personally conduct and document the numbered lock seals on the truck doors both at move-out and again at arrival. We could not have been more satisfied.

I had a short notice moving date due to my closing date changing, and occurring over the 4th of July holiday. Carmack was responsive, and provided an excellent crew for my move, at a very reasonable price. All members of the crew were very professional and careful with all belongings. They arrived on time, and worked quickly throughout the day. I move frequently for work, and have had moves fall on both ends of the spectrum of experience. The Carmack team was exceptional! I would highly recommend them for any move!!
