Dr. Kevin L. Dixon

I took my 9 year old for her yearly check up with Dr. Kevin Dixon today. I was blown away by his patience with little kids, how he explained everything to me, and how he caught a small problem with my daughter before it became a larger issue. (The problem involved a referral to a more specialized doctor, so it wasn't even as though he got some sort of financial gain for this.) I will be taking her back to him every year!! Thank you!!

Here is my experience. She (I think the doctors name was Christine she has short blonde hair) is great with one parent and one child in a room. I brought my son, whose has delays to see her and she was AMAZING. So I went to see her for eye exam as well. I had the prescription filled out in town and when I tried them I couldn't see right. So I was told to come in for another appointment. I had to bring both kids, since my spouse is gone right now. My children are 5 and 4 and where acting like 5 and 4 year olds playing with their own toys. They were a little loud but not by much. She yelled at my children 3-4 times. I ended up crying which made her lose her attitude. She blamed the place I got my glasses at, to switch I call bs since I have gotten glasses from them for YEARS. She upped my prescription a little so we will see it that helps at all. I'm only writing this review because if you have young kids that aren't perfect, do not go here.

Have been going to Dr. Kevin for 4 years now. I am a contact wearer, they have been great, they work seamlessly with my insurance. Dr. Kevin is very knowledgeable and is very gentle and patient. Also, I started taking my son 6 years old to start his yearly exams he was incredibly patient and took a lot of time letting my son look at things and touch everything and made sure he was comfortable before he started the exam. Would recommend anyone in Stafford to this practice!
