    I called AAA because my car would not start and they came out around 3pm and diagnosed it as a battery problem. I paid 270$ to replace the battery and not 15min later my car died in the middle of the road. I reached back out and they had another tech come out. It took 45min for him to arrive and he diagnosed it as the alternator and that the original battery I had was most likely fine to begin with. He bad mouthed the other tech and said that they dont know that they are doing and they are just quick to sell you stuff. That technician gave me a direct number to reach out to and a supervisor to call the next morning, he also said he would reach out to dispatch a tow truck to my location. I waited for almost an hour and after finally getting someone on the phone they told me that there is no record of any tow truck getting dispatched to my location. I waited another hour for the truck to come and by this time it was already 7pm. I made it to my home and waited for the next morning to call. Morning came and when i made the call it ended up that he gave me a wrong number. Sounds like im getting screwed over. I managed to get in contact with Member Relations department and they agreed with me. They were able to open a ticket and gave me a case # and just told me I would have to wait for a case manager to get to my case. Sounds like they have a lot of cases, not a surprise. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a company and I will make sure no one I know ever uses their service. I call everyday to get an update and they just tell me that I have to wait and I have been hung up on numerous times. They have no regard for their customers or what we go through. You'd think they would have better customer service when dealing with car issues. Its enough stress that my car is not working, they just add to it. Update: They have assigned me a case number and a case manager but I have not been able to get ahold of anyone over the phone for a week now. I have left numerous voicemails and still no response on my case.

    If youre in Springfield, VA AAA is literally useless.find a competitor. I used to respect the company; Im now sickened by them. Not only did AAA provide horrible (nonexistent) service, but they repeatedly lied to me on the phone. My car wouldnt start after shopping at Giant (batteryprobably) and I requested service at 4:10pm. Original estimated time was 7:10pm ( generic 3 hours out). They then got my hopes up by sending a text stating the driver would be there by 6:48pm. Never showed. I called and was told theyd be there by 7:23 then 7:52. Nope. Now Im calling every 20-30 minthey tell me someone is showing soon until one dispatcher finally admits they have no driver on my case (and never had) so shell expedite my service request to try to find someone, but I should call back in 20 min if I dont hear anything. I call again (for the 11th timeIm actually abbreviating believe it or not) and this time demanded honestyI had been in the parking lot for over 5 hours at this point(for a dead battery!)the only truthful lady of the bunch put me on hold for 10 min but then told me there was no shot at getting service before midnight and I should just cancel my request and try again in the morning. Thank you! So after spending over 6 hours in my car listening to AAA blatantly and repeatedly lie to me( there was never anyone on my case!)I got an Uber and a hotel which Im writing from now ( at least Im no longer cold and wet). Ill try again tomorrow morning because I have no other options as Im not from here and the couple jumps I asked nice people for failed. Anyway, as you can tell, I have lost any and all respect for AAA. Simply an awful and offensive experience. Fingers crossed I get someone civil tomorrow morning then I will cancel AAA and take my own advice to find a competitor.
