Giant Food

Its a fine store, but it doesnt make sense for one entrance/exit to be restricted to only emergency use, especially when its the side that would draw more vehicles to park on the left side of the lot, allowing for more spaces near all the businesses on the right side of the shopping plaza.

Some genius decided you can't purchase other items when you're picking up your prescriptions (you know, because going through TWO check-outs is a better customer experience). So if you're wondering why the Naked fruit juices, which require refrigeration, end up sitting in the unrefrigerated water aisle, that's just me dropping my stuff on my way out. Between the degradation of customer convenience and the loss you'll take for rotten food being left at random places by the disgruntled, maybe reconsider this idiotic policy that I've never had a problem with anywhere else in the entire country. I know this isn't a chain problem because when I go to the Giant in Woodbridge, I can buy a juice at the pharmacy counter - it's just the one at Huntsman. Good job, store manager.

Hubby couldn't wash his hands at the grocery store just now and sent this (no cell signal in there) I laughed for all the wrong reasons. This is the only sink in the men's room and that means employees can't wash their hands; Nor can the male customers touching everything after they handle their business. I stopped laughing. The total depressive employee interaction in there are bad enough. I shop here out of sheer morbid curiosity. Also, enjoy schlepping your own cart in from East Jebip.

The store is great but the new cashiers need work. I brought my own bags but noticed the young cashier wasn't bagging the groceries. Okay, but as I was bagging them he let the member discount screen drop, so I could pay but not scan my member card. He shrugged when I mentioned it and said it had been up for a while, which is true. It was up while I was doing his job. Irritating blip in an otherwise well-run store.
