Again Velocity called the police on me because they are an unethical practice. Sent my daughter out of the office crying. I contacted an attorney today and will file a complaint with the board of health professionals and velocity corporate as well as Sentara patient advocacy. Im sorry you wont treat my child like that! The whole facility needs to be restaffed with heathcare reps that are professional. The place is a joke! And of course everything is viral because they do not know how to properly diagnose a patient. They do know how to provide horrible customer service and know how to make things a problem or issue that were never a problem or issue to begin with. Do yourself a favor and go to another facility. Go to a provider that actually knows how to treat patients professionally and medically! Brooke Callahan and I had a disagreement last year because she inserted herself into a situation that did not involve her and has had it out for me ever since I called and filed a complaint. Went there march 26 for a foot injury and she seen us no issues everything went well today I go get my daughter tested today because she has been ill. The nurse comes in and says since you and Brooke had that issue we need you to leave your child in here by herself and wait in the car. Mind you I just seen her march 26 so why are you making an issue asking me to wait in my car leave my child who didnt want to be left alone in the first place. They called the police on me because I wouldnt leave until I got the chart notes from both visits and her test results mind you my daughter is still in the back by herself and all of sudden she runs out the building crying. She said they were so mean and nasty to her and she was really sick and they told her to get out. I said yall should be doing whats in the best interest of the patient not being petty because you have a chip on your shoulder because you got in trouble because I filed a complaint. And Im sorry but when my child was sick with strep they failed to send in my daughters antibiotics so she was without meds for 3 days last year which is where all this started. Because I raised concern and over ruled Brooke because she has a power trip about her. She has made it hard on me and my children ever since that day and every time. So I have had enough of it my daughter is still sick and they didnt even treat her. Negligence on their part as a healthcare provider. The VP of Sentara/velocity called me last year regarding the complaint and I thought everything was resolved. Been there several times and no issues since then until today. I will never give my business to them again. Until they get proper professional staffing I will refer people to another facility. The sad part is I have had several people who have had bad experiences with her as well and at that office. Sentara you need to do better with the employees yall hire for these facilities.

The medical care I received fell short of expectations. On two separate occasions, I sought help for unrelated symptoms but was not given adequate information about my health concerns. Furthermore, the prescribed medications seemed questionable, with the second visit raising even more doubts as I was promethazine and Tamiflu. Seeking a second opinion at centra in Danville proved crucial. I tested negative for the flu and was correctly diagnosed with asthma as the root cause of my symptoms. The prescribed inhaler and steroids were the appropriate treatment, marking significant improvement in my care. This experience underscores the importance of seeking thorough and accurate medical attention. It's also highlights the need for effective communication and precise diagnosis to ensure the best possible care for patients.
