Since when are "Drs" allowed to cuss out patients? Dr. Thomas Harmon yelled at me cussed me and called me an idiot because I tapped his arm to try to get him to let me breath. Clearly he has absolutely no compassion since I was already gagging and choking and he continued to work without asking me if I was okay. I was supposed to get 4 wisdom teeth removed. Ended up leaving the office numb and crying because I was not going to let someone so rude and disrespectful continue to work on me.

My daughter has been going her since she was a year old. But since about the beginning of 2019 or so you can never get clear communication or even anyone to ever answer the phone. Treatment plans get changed like underwear because they cant keep a doctor to save their life. That being said my daughter who is now 18 had to have her wisdom teeth pulled yesterday and first off they didnt numb her topically before injecting her with the lidocaine. Secondly she let DR. Thomas Harmon know that she was still in pain and that she was very uncomfortable and she said she was waiving her hands and crying and he said to bad your fine. Im pissed I dont care if shes 18 or even if it was me or someone else kid which I heard someone else kid who was 21 and screaming and I heard her in the lobby. And then I heard him screaming back at her. She came was telling her mother what was happening it was the same thing my daughter told me what happened to her. It sickening that a doctor would treat anyone this way. Im pissed and she will never be going back. When she was younger she had several teeth pulled there and has never had such horrible disgusting care from a provider. I hope he gets fired!!!!

3/18/2024 Update After getting some decent dental insurance, I went to see another dentist. They told me that I don't need fillings. This place on the other hand, told me that I need 4 fillings. This place does accept Medicaid, but they will try and take as much as they can from Medicaid. Well, assuming you get an appointment. My advice is to get dental insurance. If you're in a bad spot and can't get better insurance, unforunalty, your best bet will be in Richmond. Just stay away from this place is all I gotta say. -Old Review- I've been to the one at Christiansburg, Fredericksburg, and this one. Oh, man... I've never had a good experience. The Roanoke, and the Christiansburg one never pick up the phone. Both of them have a 95% chance that they'll cancel on you. I even called corporate to contact them for an appointment. The Roanoke office never called me back then proceeds to cancels my other appointment. The excuses they used in the past were, "under staffed", "new dentists", "only seeing children" and sometimes they don't even use an excuse. Then they proceed to text me and have me call them back to reschedule. WHICH THEY WON'T PICK UP THE PHONE. The times I've actually seen the dentist at the Roanoke one (Yes, It's actually possible if you're lucky enough), they were okay. Even though I've said I can't take ibuprofen, they proceed to give me ibuprofen anyway. Okay that's not too bad I guess, I'll let it slide. However, the front office lady is probably one of the rudest ladies I've encountered in my life. I can kind of see that they're under staffed because they have to hire the rudest people to work at the front desk. Hopefully, they're gone now. Gonna try Christiansburg? They'll cancel on you too! At the least the lady at the front desk at the Christiansburg one is friendlier. However, according to corporate, the Christiansburg one is shutting down. The Fredericksburg one (Pine Dentistry & Braces) is probably the only good one. If you're willing to drive 3 hours from Roanoke. But at that point, you might as well go to Richmond.
