So... based on reviews and what we had heard from others, we thought we would take our 4-month-old puppy to get groomed and to have a doggy day care day. Now he needs surgery. The grooming is okay, but nothing to get excited about and it's expensive. Holiday Barns customer service is decent if you get ahold of someone. Our experience with has been a minimum of 10 minutes on hold. The staff is nice and seems to be genuinely interested in your pets, but holding a conversation or getting them to look up from their phone is challenging. It was our pup's introductory day. We dropped off at 7:45 as requested and were told that we could pick him up between 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM. Additionally, they said they would give us a midday check-in. At 2:30 PM (because that is the middle of the day) they called to tell us everything was going great, but we had to pick him up early because he was hurt. There was lots of "we don't know what happened" and "gee, did he come here hurt" and "I can't imagine what happened". More to the point, when came to pick up our puppy, the front desk (Office Manager) knew nothing of the incident, and it was not in the notes for pick-up. So- before you take your loved, furry friend to Holiday Barn understand a few things. 1. The facility is very cool. 2. It is a high-volume facility. 3. The line staff is not very professional. 4. They are clearly not watching your pets. 5. Back of house and front of house are not communicating
