Dr. Wittman is one of the few doctors who listen to their patients! Tired of going to doctors who think when something is not working, it is patients' fault somehow! Most doctors simply prescribe based on what the pharma companies are saying. Thank you Dr. Wittman for being patient focused!

Went to set up an appointment with this (provider). The definition of provider is to present or yield something useful, make adequate precautions for, or supply someone with. Now that that's out of the way. The phone etiquette of this office is appalling. The lady was argumentative, arrogant, unwilling to educate herself on or about Tricares 2 difference in coverage. Prime vs Select. Select dosent need referrals. Hence why we PAY MORE OUT OF POCKET. I don't have time to run to my Dr to get permission & bother him, her, them for everything. Yet that's exactly what this woman wanted!!! Avoid this place , that want you to bother an already over worked Dr , won't even educate themselves on insurance companies yet just wants everyone should be the same. Don't walk away, R U N from this place & it's lazy arrogant individuals. You won't find a (provider) here!!!

Why cant anyone answer the phones. Ive been trying to cancel my appointment since 9:40 this morning and its now 3pm. This is outrageous. And the annoying woman giving information while we wait makes it so much worse

This provider provided me with the diagnostic tests I needed and that's the main reason why I'm giving him a star. Otherwise, he demonstrated a significant level of apathy and very little empathy for me as a patient, while indicating that I may have a diagnosis that could alter the course of my life. Lacked cultural awareness and showed little to no initiative when it came to providing me with the information needed to support his clinical diagnosis. I would be cautious seeing him if you're a patient of color and/or someone who needs a doctor with good bedside manners.

I'm NOT new at this- I'm 60 years young and I've been going to Neurological Associates for 46 years now. They diagnosed me correctly after 11 years of doctors in Cleveland and Boston screwed UP!! (I cleaned that opinion up too!) I've been fortunate enough to be a patient with the best neurologists in Richmond and therefore have never left Neurological Associates. They're staff and nurses have always been pleasant to deal with and assist my needs 100%too. And the help and patience they have given and shown regarding making sure my prescriptions are filled will forever be appreciated by me especially in light of today's healthcare 'climate'. My doctor is Dr John Whitman and his manner is courteous and respectful always. He fills the shoes well of those Great Ones who have passed before him who treated me. Dr Whitman is foresightful on my condition, prescriptions and age. My goal now is to be their longest patient. They gave me everything else.
