        Overall, our experience was good. However, we were told at the beginning of our loan process that we would receive closing cost assistance from a grant for first time home buyers. We were not notified or told that the grant ran out of money until after receiving our closing cost statement and asking why we were set to pay $6k in closing cost (3 days prior to closing on our home). This was not only shocking but frustrating that we had not been told sooner. Thankfully we had the money, but if we hadnt we would not have been able to buy our home we had just built.
