i am so grateful for my time at aster springs because helen,leslie,melanie,lisa, tracey,stephanie,kate,ashley,jasmine and so many more loved me for exactly who i truly am and as someone who has had a rough go at it when it comes to treatment this place saved my life because they taught me that its worth saving even when it doesnt feel that way and when i lost hope they held it for me until i could see it again for myself

Going to Aster Springs actually saved my life. They helped me believe that I could have a life outside of my eating disorder. Im allowed to make my own decisions and I dont have to obey my eating disorder. There is hope in life and I deserve a future that I didnt think I was ever going to have. I wanna shoutout all the RCs, especially Jasmine, Ashley, Nia, and Gracie - they helped me more than I could ever imagine, and they were always there for me. Thank you so much to Caroline, Chiara, and Pauline for being the best therapeutic and dietetic team. And to anyone whos on the fence about this place, I dont think that you can find a better facility than this one. If youre thinking about going, please dont wait. it will literally save your life; it saved mine. It was amazing and it wasnt at all what I expected. It exceeded my expectations.

Words cannot describe how incredible this place is. From the intake process to discharge every staff member has been so kind and genuine. The RCs are truly one of a kind. Jasmine, Ashley, Nia, Jess, Crystal and Gigi truly went above and beyond during my stay. You can tell that they truly care about every clients wellbeing. My therapist Chiara and my dietitian Caroline were absolutely amazing. I felt heard and was included in my treatment every step of the way. Helen is an absolute gem and made sure to check in every client to ensure that they were getting the best care and took every recommendation and suggestion from clients seriously. Joe and Ro, the culinary staff, were amazing and I had some great conversations with them outside of meals. Ray was so friendly and he made me laugh even during the toughest days. Seeking treatment is incredibly difficult and being in a residential is not a walk in the park, but every staff member made the stay enjoyable. I did not think I would laugh as much as a did in treatment. As an African American with an eating disorder, it is rare that one sees diversity in the eating disorder world. Aster Springs has such a diverse staff. I truly felt safe and welcomed. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Having been a variety of places seeking treatment for an eating disorder, there is no program that I would recommend more highly than Aster Springs. The care I experienced was truly individualized and I was continually met with compassion and encouragement. The support staff are well-trained in providing support and the clinicians are competent and recovery-focused. While no treatment program is perfect, the environment and staff of Aster Springs come close. I am incredibly grateful for their help in saving my life.
