They don't do appointments for mental health and partial hospitalization on Fridays which make absolutely zero sense, so don't come here on Fridays if you need an evaluation on Fridays. Insurance will only allow you 10 days to be here. I don't recommend this and you're better off going to the ER.

I went into the psych unit through the ER with off the chain anxiety. I had determined I would do whatever they told me in order to get better. Within 36 hours, the psychiatrist had gotten me a CT scan that showed the cause of my anxiety was pulmonary embolisms and I was moved to a different area to treat those. It would never have occurred to me that it was anything other than debilitating anxiety. Kudos also to the psych admissions nurse, who recognized my extreme condition and managed to find me a bed in spite of my partner being very rude to her. This place saved my life.

My son went there and the doctor on the weekend was not kind and uninvolved . You don't need that kind of Doctor when you are suicidal . You need love and we can help you kind of attitude .

I really enjoyed my time here in the general unit. I stayed there for 5 and a half days, and while the food kinda sucks, the staff were mostly all kind and really helpful. Talking with other patients going through the same problems helped more than I would have ever imagined. There was a great group that was there with me, and I feel like I have a new family. Shoutout to the regular night tech; he was great. I'm really thankful to this place to help get me feeling better. It was the best decision I've ever made.
