I have been trying to get in touch with my social worker Alma Boafo since January 2023 and her mail box is full. I can't get in touch with anyone!

They never answer they stopped my snap benefits with no explanation I had to reapply and I called two weeks after I reapplied to see what the status was the lady told me they needed my income and proof residency by 11-13 Im like today is already 11-09 and they close on 11-10 for Veterans Day nobody called or sent any letter out to me to let me know this this place horrible how you suppose to be a place to help people but you hire trash employees

The Case Workers Here Are Very Unprofessional & Have Bad Customer Service They Never Answer The Phone Or Check Their Voicemails They Do Not Care About The Black Community Bad Enough We Have To Depend On Them With Our Assistance & Benefits And We Have Children. Some Of Them Are Really Rude And Disrespectful They Act The Way They Act Because They Know They Are In Control Of Our Assistance And Benefits So Therefore They Feel Like They Can Talk To Us Any Kind Of Way And Give Us A Call Back When They Feel Like It And Yet They Still Get Paid For Their Poor & Unprofessional Services. Something Needs To Change & Improve ASAP

I received a letter from the department of social services saying that they have not received the intern report they sent me, I mailed it off the very next day after getting it. Why they don't have it? Then they'll cut your stamps off and it's none of my fault when I kn it was mailed the past month. I'm so furious, my worker never answered or do she ever work? I don't think it's fair at all that I and a million others are having the same issue with this place . I'm calling the Governor and the Government. It makes no sense.

I've been trying to get my uncles medicaid taken care of for about 6-7 months w/ no call back & no response to my emails. The nursing company we hired also has called and emailed w/no response. I have the packet from the health department that says my Uncle needs certain services that hes unable to get because the Richmond city social services has not bothered to answer any of the mail ,calls, or the messages that we've left to try to get this taking care of. Let me ask: who's going to be held responsible when something happens to my Uncle because hes not been taking care of the way hes supposed to be because the servics he needs Are not being met due to His insurance has not been upgraded to accommodate the new services he needs or actually the services hes needed all along they just did not accommodate him from the git go
