Skipwith Academy at Huguenot

If I could give Zero Stars I would. Just a horrible DayCare Center. Every time I walk in there, it smells like poop, it feels dirty and Old. My child is always sick. The employees look tired, overworked, unmotivated, and it leads me to believe that they are underpaid and I DONT BLAME THEM!!! Shame on the Director! Ive heard other parents talk about how the daycare has been short staffed and being over ratio. I will be calling Licensing to report this and have this facility shutdown!

I can't say enough about how much we love Skipwith - especially the teachers, who love on my little one so much every day. The teachers really are the heart of the school and give the children all the attention they need. Skipwith at Huguenot as everything you'd expect in a daycare/preschool - nice facilities, provided meals, dedicated care. But they go above and beyond by also planning school activities and events. I've had three children attend Skipwith at various times (infant care, preschool, before & after school care and their summer program) and have not had any complaints. I highly recommend!

Skipwith has been an amazing experience. Getting daily updates for my childs experiences and growth has been great. Every teacher in the infant rooms has been very informative and invested. Truthfully, Asheli has upheld every promise and statement that makes Skipwith great place for us. We appreciate them. Also they throw the best parties. #sneakerball

Our son has been going here since he was an infant and we have nothing but positive things to say about the team here. They do a great job communicating, coming up with fun activities for the kids, sending pictures to parents, and creating a warm, safe environment for the children.

No other daycare in the Richmond/Tri-Cities area should even be considered. And, as a current father of 7, I know a bit about what I'm speaking on. lol. But in all seriousness, give them a call, set up a tour, and you will not be disappointed. That's all it took for my family. Meet the ever-caring staff, observe how they operate (beautifully: the kids LOVE them), and you'll soon be writing a review similar to mine. 5 stars all the way.
