The person who posted this review never had an appointment at my law office. So, they claim to have visited my law office “multiple times” without an appointment “to see if he did exists!” My office has a Ring doorbell with video. Just to make sure there could be no possible confusion, I have a sign outside my office door that says “USE THIS DOORBELL” with an arrow pointing to the Ring doorbell. I can tell from reviewing the Ring video that this person never so much as rang the doorbell when they were checking on my existence! My office does not have any windows leading to the hallway, so one would not know from the hallway whether I was in my office.Furthermore, this person states they were directed to “a lawyer named Claude Whitehead.” My website in the Reckless Driving Speeding section of my Practice Areas clearly talks about my of counsel Claude Whitehead. Claude Whitehead and his impressive credentials are mentioned 3 separate times on this web page- https://www.bobbattlelaw.com/practice_areas/traffic-law-violations.cfm I have a free consumer guide available on my website that gives much more detail about Claude Whitehead and explains that if the inquiry is about a matter I won’t be handling personally, I will have the lawyer who would be handling the case contact them directly. This legal case was not in a jurisdiction that is even in the same area code where I practice personally (I’m in Richmond in the 804 area code) and that is why Claude Whitehead replied to the inquiry. Claude in fact spoke with this person and the person decided to hire a local lawyer. So, to summarize- this person received a free consultation with Claude Whitehead who has been practicing for 28 years and successfully handled thousands of these cases, chose to hire another law firm and because this person showed up at my office unannounced without an appointment and without even ringing my office doorbell, have decided that I don’t actually exist!
