Guru P. Mohanty, MD

My husband was diagnosed with AFib and went to a cardiologist who recommended he see Dr Mohanty. We're so glad that's where he ended up. Dr Mohanty's bedside manner and patient care is excellent and he's extremely knowledgeable. He seems to truly care about his patients and we've said multiple times he does what more doctors should be doing.

I met Dr. Mohanty in the hospital ER where I was diagnosed with a complete heart block. My heart rate was down to 40 bpm. Dr. Mohanty performed my pacemaker surgery and most likely saved my life. He has a wonderful bedside manner and has a reputation as a great surgeon. I look forward to having him as my cardiologist for many years to come.

Dr Mohanty killed my mother from doing the watchman procedure on her for her A-fib. Do not take your loved ones to him. My mom had Parkinsons disease with hallucinations and delusions and they still pushed the watchmen procedure on my mom knowing she was 72 and had Parkinsons and hallucinations but they did it anyway. The day she came out of surgery. She was no longer herself anymore and didnt know who I was within a month she was gone.

My mother in law went to see doctor Guru P. Mohanty for A- Fib in October they told her she needed to have surgery or she had to take blood thinner that was over priced and we all know pills are over priced she also has developed Parkinsons disease and hallucinations which were not bad in October my husband didnt want his mother to go into surgery because of her hallucinations and if you give someone General anesthesia there disease gets worse Im surprised that they didnt know that she is an amazing person and an amazing Mother who worked so hard in life by helping disabled children she was a schoolteacher in Richmond va for 42 years when she was younger she worked with babies that had disability as well her mother did as well a woman with a heart of gold and Dr mohanty took that amazing person away he hasnt called to check on her nor has the nurses so I hope and pray to god you all have a happy new year while I help my mother in law try to eat try to bathe herself try to use the bathroom she thinks people are beside her sleeping in her bed all thanks to Dr Mohanty you forced my 72 year old mother in law which you did know had Parkinson Disease and her son called to cancel the surgery you pushed on her and made her sign papers that was her death sentence I hope you lose everything you killed an amazing mother oh and now she cant hardly walk she also has fallen so Please dont take your loved ones to this man it might be the last time you will see them my mother in law is gone and I MISS HER You KILLED Her I hope your happy dont see this man
