After I scheduled my consultation, I received an email giving me until the morning of the appointment to complete the intake form. John Merna texted me Saturday afternoon saying they cancelled because I didnt complete the form. I let him know of the deadline I got from his office; he put it back on and I thought it was the end of it. He sent another email confirmation of the meeting and in the notes at the top of the email, he put that I was slow at getting the form in and the I was argumentative about it. When we had a discussion about it, he immediately interrupted me and talked over me. I dont understand why this man was so hostile and aggressive when Id never laid eyes on him. It was definitely unhinged and unnecessary. Needless to say, Ill look elsewhere for legal services.

My experience was seamless. Ive never in my life had to work with a lawyer. All my calls was return and questions answer right away. One time I called to leave a message on the weekend and Mr Merna answer the phone and he was actually on his way out of town yet still answered my questions that took my worry away. I was so impressed. I would definitely recommend Merna Law.

We finalized our bankruptcy months back. A bank tried to take a large check we received and offset an account that was included in the case. We contacted The Merna Law Group asking if this is allowed. Nope! They gave us advice on what to do to get that money back and it worked! The Merna Law Group stays in contact with their clients and will try to help even after a case is over. 5 stars for sure!
