Kingly Ones

I applied for an apartment at Kingly Ones Apartments 1903 Hopkins Rd. Richmond, VA 23224 in August 2022. I paid the $40 application fee, and after not hearing from them for 3 weeks I called for the status of the application. I was told that my application was denied because of negative things on my credit report. I pulled a credit report before I started my apartment search, and I dont have any negative things on my credit report. I asked if I could get more details when they send the denial letter, and I was told that they do not send out denial letters. I still to this day have not received a denial letter from Kingly Ones Apartments. I recently moved into my new apartment, and nothing was said to me about negative credit, and my deposit was only $250.

Terrible place to stay. My AC had dropped working and they wouldnt give me any type of ac unit or fans during my almost 2 month waiting period. Mind you when I first moved in the first week of me living there I had a leak from my tub to my living room. Infested with bugs. U name it. Please dont move here

Asked why haven't we had a pool in 3 years. I was told to use the community pool. They tried to blame it on COVID but we didn't have a pool the summer before COVID hit.

Absolutely horrible. They placed a garnishment on my friend and after he paid the full garnishment they now want another 3k with no proof of any damages or an itemized invoice for what the amount is to cover. His lease was up and he did not renew so no rent was owed.
