Prime Investments Business Brokers

I had been trying to sell my IT company by myself for about 18 months when a business associate suggested that I contact Prime Investments. Prime had sold his government contracting business about two years earlier and he was very happy with their service. I contacted Prime and they set up an initial meeting. They explained their process which was fairly simple - and we got started. What I liked was that Prime had sold businesses like mine before and was familiar with my industry. They appraised the business (with no charge!) and laid out their plan to market my company. Worked like a charm. We had multiple offers within the first few months. Prime helped me to fashion the best deal and even referred a good attorney to me to review the final Purchase Agreement. Everything went smoothly to closing and even afterwards - I still work for the company I sold as a part-time consultant. Couldnt be happier!

My main issue when I sold my business was confidentiality I was worried about what would happen if my competitors learned that my business was for sale. I interviewed several brokers, but as soon as I talked to the team from Prime Investments, I knew that we were a good match. They understood my concerns and had a process in place that assured that everything would be kept confidential. The buyer turned out to be a Wall Street private equity firm. They didnt want to run the day-to-day business, so they made our operations manager their junior partner and promoted him to general manager. I cant say that there were no bumps along the way to closing, but every time a problem came up, the guys at Prime were able to solve the problem and move the deal forward. To sum it up Prime Investments did a great job, exceeded my expectations, and I would recommend them to anyone needing a business broker or M&A advisor.

Prime recently represented me in the sale of my commercial painting company. From start to finish, I was thoroughly impressed with their professionalism and expertise. They understood my industry, fairly appraised my business, completed a thorough prospectus in a timely manner, and had a network of potential qualified buyers at the ready. Their ability to understand my business and the industry in general translated into a well-crafted prospectus (confidential offering memorandum). Good and effective communication is an essential element of any successful business. The communication with the Prime team throughout the process was excellent. The mutual respect, and the prompt and sound advice I consistently got from them, enabled us to develop a true partnership which, eventually, turned into a friendship. I engaged Prime Investments to sell my distribution business primarily because they had a great track record and didnt charge any up-front fees. (I had already wasted $30K in upfront fees with another company, but thats another story). My experience with Prime was absolutely fantastic. They did everything they said they would they wrote a great prospectus, interviewed lots of qualified buyers, got me a great deal, kept the whole process absolutely confidential and took care of everything right up to the closing. I would recommend them to anyone.
