My husband and I took our two children to Elysium. The owner, Brandon, is a very friendly guy. The trees are reasonably priced and the view of the mountains there is beautiful. The selection out in the farm was very minimal. They werent, in my opinion, very pretty trees that one would want to take homeat least if you were looking for a taller, 7 or 8 ft tree. They did, however, have a decent selection of 8 foot trees near the store. Being that this is a new owner, and he is just starting out running this tree business, my husband and I have a couple suggestions for Brandon that will hopefully take place for next year: 1) invest in a needle shaker so less needles fall while moving the tree into your house, 2) use netting that is plastic instead of a fabric fiber-based netting, 3) dont wrap that netting around the tree trunk, as this adds the complication of getting it off when youve put the tree on the tree stand, 4) cut off the bottom inch or two of the tree with a chainsaw before putting the tree on the customers car, and lastly 5) learn how to properly tie a tree on the top of a car, as our tree almost slid off completely on the way home. If these improvements can be taken into account and integrated into next years, service, my husband and I will definitely be back!

Cute property and a lot of local vendor stuff for sale (always a plus in our small county) including local breweries! I called and immediately got a call back (I wanted to be sure they took card and they did) so customer service is great! They had a Santa there you could purchase $5 smore kits to roast and take pictures, so that was very cute. It's a nice spot to let kids run, play, look at trees etc The only reason I say 3.5 stars is pricing, the s'mores obviously were super cheap, but $4 out of a warmer hot chocolate seemed a little steep and there's a lot of tree farms in the area, along with local farmers, properties, fire house etc. unfortunately, this places price range was far above what we've seen elsewhere for similar quality. I avidly avoid big box stores so obviously don't try to compare that kind of wholesale pricing to small farms. However I was disappointed at $100 per tree, with very few marked down that really were not what you'd want to take home. This place is special tho, gorgeously situated property so I do recommend checking them out, as everyone's price range differs.
