        Ever since I moved to Petersburg in 2021, I've brought my vehicles to Gene's Automotive. Gene has taken particular care of my 1986 Jaguar XJ6 and done a tremendous job with all of its fixes. He and his wife Michelle are both very affable and willing to work with you on parts. They are also both very frank, honest, and extremely knowledgeable - Gene has owned his business for decades. I have so much confidence and faith in both of them that I always bring my vehicles back to them.

      I'm so sorry that you feel as if we are trying to "get money out of you". I have no control over the issues that YOUR vehicle is having. I know that you are upset over us charging a diagnostic fee (as we did not do any work to your vehicle). It takes our team time to look at your vehicle and the fee is also clearing posted at the door. We also discussed this in detail before your vehicle arrived at our shop. It was YOUR choice for us to look at it and you accepted the charge at that time. How quickly you forgot our conversation. I hope that you found another shop to your liking.
