Motel 6 Norfolk, VA - Oceanview

I got a room at this hotel so I could be close to the st Patrick's day parade. I had to wait over 30 minutes to be given my 1st room because the system was down. When I got to my first room (3rd floor) I had all my bags and the key didn't work. I went and spoke to the gentleman at the desk and he gave me another room. When I got to the 2nd room I sat down for a minute because it was late and I was tired. After a few minutes past I turned on the heater and only cold air blew out. I went to take a shower and there was only 1 towel and 1 rag. I had 2 other people with me and all of them wanted a shower. Also and more importantly the shower did not drain and that was the final straw for me. Only 1 hour past and I went to speak to the gentleman at the front desk again and he said he was gonna call his manager. The manager was extremely rude and told me that because I was in the room longer than 15 minutes that he couldn't refund my money. I said I don't care about that money just give me my deposit back and since you don't want to give me my room money back after all the stuff I been through that I was gonna leave a bad review. The manager then said I broke a remote in his room and he is keeping my deposit. I didn't break anything all mind you and he never went to the room to check it. The manager then called the police and told me to get off his property. This is the absolute worst experience at a hotel ever.

Great people I love the way they do business and they're desperately trying to make it as comfortable as possible and they like to keep the place very clean I like the new owners... I wish them all the best
