        Everything about this funeral director is messy! After reading the reviews I can safely say he's a liar as well. MY family NEVER had the option to review the obituary before it was printed! Due to that, he passed out the programs at the funeral with THE WRONG DEATH DATE and a few misspelled words.My father passed January 15th 2024. We've yet to receive the death certificate nor has he corrected the programs that he messed up! (And he said he was along with "throwing in something extra) He rushed us with the entire process. I'm glad to see the reviews that he took care of your families and walked yall threw the whole process. WE DIDN'T HAVE THAT! Eric is a narcissist. He lied on camera (I had to record him) and still hasn't fixed his mistakes. We never got a contract, nor did we sign the agreement to give permission to embalm! State law. IT HAS TO BE IN WRITING! He has hurt my family leaving this last impression and a very bad taste! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! YOU HAVE TO KEEP THE FIRE UNDER HIM, or he'll do what he wants! There was no communication. He tried to be slick and give us generic programs when we paid for specific programs. We asked for the limo and he came with a dirty sprinter that looked to have had a party the night before. He has caused me so much pain my heart aches everyday.I regret sending my father there!! He did NOTHING RIGHT!!! ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! Then passed out the programs with the wrong death date at the funeral and he KNEW IT WAS WRONG, HE KNEW THIS!!!! DISGUSTED STILL... almost 30 days later! Please be careful where you send your loved ones remains. THIS IS NOT THE PLACE!!! #LEGALACTIONTIME

        Our son was well taken care of. E. Vaughn Wray went ABOVE and BEYOND for our family. I called many funeral homes and this one stood out immediately because of the kindness I received. The owner Mr. Eric helped walked us through every step of the process. He was knowledgeable, professional, and relatable. The entire staff is compassionate. You are not treated like just another client. Our son was honored and respected during an extremely difficult time.

      I was certainly waiting on this review. Ms, Melvin’s Staton (her mother not her. We have no contract with Tocarra Staton) received THE BEST service that we ALWAYS provide. Our program services are ALWAYS included in our packages. Each family has to review their content. WE DO NOT PROOFREAD OR MAKE CHANGES TO ANY PROGRAM INFORMATION. A deadline is always given; years of families have NEVER had a problem until Ms. Staton. Ms Staton came in cursing, belligerent, threatening, recording without our consent and went on a gossip blog. We PAID for new programs which wasn’t our policy or responsibility. In good faith we attempted to correct something that was her fault. Her death certificates WERE NOT PAID FOR. They were given as courtesy, as they have been filed but we choose not to distribute. She’s free to go to the health department to get whatever she needs. Ms Tocarra IS banned from our property as law enforcement will be contacted. It’s very sad that we have to ban families; going forward we REFUSE to serve HER as other families members, have called me to apologize for her egregious behavior and stated their continued EVW patronage. We will stand in any venue and declare our going over and beyond to make this situation right. Ms. Staton has a history of creating these problems! There are some that are just determined to violate good businesses in their quest to get something for nothing. My prayer is that she really gets the help she needs. This is not normal behavior.
