Worth shop anywhere owner Ronald Hanson is a complete con artist. Took me for $750 cash and basically trashed my transmission and didn’t even reinstall all parts that were removed. Not a family owned business anymore and not a member of BBB all lies. Ripped off a bunch of people then closed shop and hauled ass with no response to attempts to contact. Left a trail of damage and lawsuits. Stay way from this shop and this asshole. Ima find him before this is over !!

Has had our Jeep for 8 months. We dropped it off to have the transmission rebuilt in September 2022. Supposedly ready November 2022. Picked it up and paid and then it was having the same issues with shifting as we were having before we dropped it off. The owner told us we needed to take it to the Jeep dealership to get it flashed. Paid the dealership $200 and it didnt fix the problem. Took it back to the shop. Owner said the new torque converter went bad. Finally ready for pick up April 2022. On the way home from the shop on the James River Bridge the transmission starts smoking and completely stops working leaving me stranded on the bridge. Have it towed back to the transmission shop. Owner says he needs to put a different transmission in it . Every day we call he promises it will be done and gives some excuse why it isnt. Last week he said it was ready and that he was taking it to the Jeep dealership in Hampton and gave us the name of the service representative hes working with. Spoke to the owner yesterday and he said he hasnt heard from the dealership yet and thats why its not ready. Called the dealership and they said the jeep has never been there and they havent done business with him since 2022. Shop phone has been disconnected and he hasnt answered his cell phone. I do not believe anything he says. I doubt the transmission was ever rebuilt or replaced to being with. He has our jeep and $3000 we paid for the transmission. Please do not use this shop. We are going to have to get legal
involved. Dishonest, unprofessional and doesnt know how to fix transmissions. I wish I had read his reviews before I ever took the Jeep there to begin with. It looks like Im not the only one this has happened to. :(

DONT NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED......Had my transmission for over a month just to say he couldn't fix it I even took it out the car for him. Very unprofessional and disrespectful. Worst part is I got a box of parts back and nothing was labeled or organized, bunch of fly by night alcoholics that claim they are "mechanic's"

No stars straight trash. Had my car over a month told me 7-10 days. Tried to rip me off. Threatened to come to my house and take it out my driveway. There working hours are 9-3. Literally at 2-3 they done. No weekends. Oh I also gave him $ 1400 upfront. Customer service skills are horrible and I could smell liquor on him the second I went to his shop!
