As a mortgage loan officer for Old Point Mortgage, I am extremely pleased at how responsive they are to my needs for my borrowers. I have never had an issue. Also many borrowers like to blame the title company when issues arise, I can assure you that isn't where the problems arise. Most challenges arise from the lender on the loan they are closing, and from seller or buyers side or realtors. There are many moving parts when closing a loan. But, it is seldom the title companies fault. Please remember they get their numbers from the lender. I dont typically write reviews, but I saw a couple of negative reviews and folks its not the title company. These people bend over backwards to close your loans. Title isnt what holds them up.

Due to unforseen circumstances, we had to switch the company who we were supposed to close with. The staff here worked quick and made sure we were able to close on time with very very short notice. Kim was amazing.

Always the most efficient closers in the industry! The title work comes back faster than anywhere and the staff is exceptional!
