    We had an appointment and they didnt even bother calling or showing up todayA call indicating they were running late or not coming would have been great.we stayed home for an additional 30 mins and also called..no one was even in the office to speak to. So inconsiderate.

    Changed my rating and review due to the way the new paperless system is going! Not only paperless, but totally customer service"less!" On top of that, the way the Office Manager treated me when she FINALLY called me, I want to change it to a negative number! I requested a call back because the appointment call said something I didn't agree with about the treatment. I never got a call back or confirmation about what they were scheduled to do. Then because the paperless system, after the service I get no receipt for the payment, had to sign a blank phone page agreeing to god knows what, (LAST TIME I WILL EVER DO THAT!), just a system with a total disregard for the customer! The technician was ok, it's all down to the office not doing their part, and their system having you sign blank blocks! The day after the service, because I commented in their system, the Office Manager called me. 1. Talked to me like I was below her and it was paining her to lower herself to my level to tell me off. 2. Didn't even attempt to explain anything, started the conversation off with "You need to understand, we ARE going paperless, and we didn't call you back because we have no idea where you left a message. Next time, try calling our office." I explained I left the message where YOUR message told me to call, the same number that the system called from. This is where she cut me off TELLING me "Like I said you need to call the office! I have no idea what that message says, but that isn't right!" Was I supposed to know? 3. She tells me: "The message might say one thing but we are going to treat where you ask us to treat!" Ma'am, all I can go by is what the message says, if your system is wrong or misleading, that is on you, NOT ME. Then she interrupts me again, this is actually about the 5th time and I have already said once "OK, I will shut up so you can tell me what you have to say rather than listening to me." Her reply was OK and talked, not even listening enough to understand what I just said. She might be a manager and have a few people underneath her, I used to have 77 people under me and was responsible for a flightline of 22 aircraft worth $36 Million each, but I am sorry to say, I DO NOT WORK FOR YOU, I WOULD NOT WORK FOR YOU, AND I CAN SEE WHY YOU ARE SHORT STAFFED! Treat me like you want to be treated, or I will treat you how you act!!! Services: Rodent extermination, Termite inspection, General pest inspection, Cockroach extermination, Bug & insect extermination, Ant extermination

Mr. Wolf, thank you for taking the time to update your previous 5-star review. We’re sorry that you had a negative experience with our new software system. Being that you have been with Colonial Exterminating since 2007 (possibly longer since we began our digital software journey at that time), we hope that we can work through the kinks with our new system and still service your pest control needs. Our new messaging system is automated. It has a basic message stating that we will be out the next day and treat the outside of your home and that if you have an issue inside, to please call the office to schedule an inside service. Unfortunately, you called back the automated number and that did not reach our office. At this time, we do have a service ticket in to try and change this message to better suit our practices. Please know that we are 100% committed to having a human experience at Colonial Exterminating. Our technicians will always go to the door and let you know they are present before beginning your treatment or inspection. They will always ask you if you are having any issues inside and treat your home accordingly. It was unfortunate that while we were speaking on the phone your call kept dropping and we were unable to have a solid discussion about the new system. Apologies if our discourse was interpreted as you stated above. We welcome all feedback but your feedback as a veteran customer is essential to us. As stated before, we hope we can work through this and continue to serve your pest control needs. Thank you for being a customer over the decades.
