Very deceitful manner of doing guardian at litem work. Made appointments to meet me without my knowledge. Any evidence I showed her she down played and spoke of vaguely in court. When it was shown I didn't violate any part of the order, she made sure to tell me if I did what my child's mother did she would press charges on Me! The list goes on... Terrible

Ms Short is the stereotype of a nightmarish experience with an attorney. She took my case knowing that I wanted to fight for custody of my child against an abusive partner then refused to complete discovery, missed promised deadlines for filings and collected $14k from me without attending a single hearing and without successfully negotiating a settlement. She abandoned my case when she failed to draft even a simple settlement agreement and seems to be outdated on her knowledge base for domestic and family law. Find another attorney. Its been two years and I am still traumatized by my experiences with this woman.

Looking into a child custody case remotely from Maine; she took the entire retainer, billed us for the entire amount, and over a weekend, told us there was nothing she could do. Charlatan! Wrote her about the billing; no reply.
