We had a puppy a few years ago and we took her in for booster shots. She got sick the next day, vet said that was normal. He said give her pedialyte and kaopectate. She was taken in to the vets two days later, first they did an UNAUTHORIZED blood transfusion. I would have been grateful if it had worked. She got even sicker after. He said it was probably from a BAD BATCH of the booster. Called two days in a row, he was not in either time. He returned call on second day and said she passed away the day before. When asked why he didn’t notify me , his reasoning was I didn’t want to bother you. Please ask questions about what and why they are doing what they are doing to your pet. I’m amazed they’re still in business since his wife did jail time, basically taking the fall for him, due to embezzlement. I sure hope he is no longer practicing there, maybe he passed on like the numerous animals he misdiagnosed and treated for issues they DIDN'T have. This is my personal experience and yes you might have a good experience with this office, I would drive all the way to Verona if my animal was sick. Once again this is my opinion, it’s not up for debate. I hope I can save an animal from a premature death. Last year we had to put our 15 year old bloodhound down. She weighed about 90 lbs and we had no way to transfer her to the vet. We found an amazing travel vet who was compassionate and helped us. We called and asked how much cremation would cost at this office. The receptionist said “we don’t cremate unless you get us to put down your dog” when we explained we had no way to transport her, receptionist said and I quote, “not my problem, you shouldn’t have ever gotten a dog that you could t transport” cold heartless b**ch.
