The Nest Schools

We absolutely love The Nest for our daughter! She has flourished since attending, with her speech and vocabulary taking off. We greatly appreciate the excellent communication with the teachers, who are not only attentive but also provide regular updates on her progress. The positive reinforcement and praise given to the children are wonderful to see. The school itself is beautiful, always clean, neat, and well-organized. The friendly atmosphere makes dropping off and picking up our daughter a pleasure. We are so grateful to have found such a nurturing environment for our child to learn and grow.

Our daughter has been at The Nest in Mechanicsville for 8 months and we adore the staff and teachers. They are kind, conscientious, communicative, and supportive. We trust that our daughter is well cared for and encouraged in her development. The app is especially useful for instant exchanges and pictures (and funny photo captions)! The admin team, Hannah and Rhema led by Deanna, know every child and family, and are so warm and welcoming. Were very happy and grateful to be there.

We recently started daycare for our daughter at Nest School, we were little hesitant at the beginning since it was a new establishment, but everyone over there were kind and sweet . Ms Whalen, Ms Hannah , Ms Heather, Ms Rhea, and other teachers gave assurance and answered all my questions. After the first day my daughter happily wanted to go there , no more tears. Thanks to everyone at The Nest !!

Initially we were hesitant to enroll our child at The Nest because it was a new facility and there was not much information. However we decided to tour the facility again and I reached out to a parent who loved the daycare. So we decided to take a leap and enroll our child. Well, we gave them the registration fee filled out the paperwork. As it was getting closer to me going back to work I had not heard back. Well I called and they said they had lost our paperwork/information. Well then we were told she should be able to start before I had to go back to work. When I called again to confirm the start date the person on the phone had no idea that my child was starting daycare there. Well we get a call from the manager that they had a magical spot open up for our child. But we said we would let them know by the end of the week if we were going to move forward. Well fast forward to the end of the week when we called back to let them know we were going to move forward with the enrollment. No one answered. We left voicemails and called multiple more times and no one answered. No one ever called us back. We lost our registration fee because no one ever called us back regarding this and to this day no one has even reached out. Poor communication and no follow through. But the facility is clean. Hence the 1 Star.
